Description

Foredom® Flexible Shaft Power Tools are of the highest quality and have been the standard in precision industries for many years. Designed with powerful 1/8 HP ball bearing motors for all types of hand grinding, deburring, buffing or polishing.

Smooth running handpieces have a slim, lightweight design and eliminate the vibration, noise and heat associated with motors in other hand held electric or air tools.

Features a 1/8 HP, ball bearing, reversible motor with dependable, long lasting performance under all kinds of conditions and applications. Reversible motor feature provides greater control for right or left hand use. Designed to hang from above work area. Optional motor hangers available - see accessories below.

Durable flexible shaft is 39" (1 m) long and encased in protective sheath with steel liner and silencer.

Operates at speeds up to 18,000 rpm.

Standard 110-115 volt AC.
Also available in 220-230 volt - see #6520A.

Handpiece constructed with pre-lubricated ball bearings that require no maintenance. Collet design works best for using cutting burs, wheels and buffs. Comes with wrench and 3 different size collets for holding the following shaft sizes:

3/32" (2.38mm) ......1/8" (3.17mm) ......1/4" (6.35mm)
